Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Owen County Public Library would like to invite you to join them in supporting your community and its future by becoming a Friend of the Owen County Public Library.
What Friends do:
• Support the Library by promoting its services and programs
• Advocate for the Library to local and state representatives
• Volunteer at Friends sponsored events such as the Fall Bazaar and the
Spring Book Sale
• Financially support essential programs including Summer Reading and the
Ford Scholarship
Membership does not require a lot of time or a large donation, in fact this year we are waiving our annual $5 dues. The most important thing our Friends do is support the Library in our community. They do this by letting others know about upcoming programs, recommending books, audiobooks or digital downloads, liking and sharing our Facebook posts, and proudly telling others you are a Friend of the Library.
To become a member, simply click on the Friends Membership Form below, print, fill out and drop it off at the library, email it to ocpladmin@owenlibrary.org or mail it to:
Owen County Public Library
1370 Hwy 22 East

The Owen County Public Library was established in 1946 by the Owen County Woman’s Club. It has continued to grow through the efforts of community members who understand the value of libraries to their communities and also understand that libraries needed community support to survive. We are proud of the role the Library plays in our community and urge you to join the Friends of the Owen County Public Library today!
